Adventure Lessons from CAG!

Have you ever taken a lesson? Here in Breckenridge, lots of us have taken ski lessons. The guides here at Colorado Adventure Guides have many varied interests; we’ve taken lessons in guitar, ceramics, Korean cooking, entrepreneurship, and ski manufacturing. Our guides are learners as well as teachers. With this passionate guide staff, Colorado Adventure Guides offers a different experience than simply putting our guests through the motions of trying a new activity; we teach our guests along the way, imparting skills and knowledge needed to continue exploring new ways to adventure.

It’s in this mindset that we often refer to the guided experiences we offer as lessons. Feeling hesitant to attempt a jump on your local mountain bike trail? Book a mountain biking lesson with us! Unsure of how to build a climbing anchor… or of how to tie into your harness? Let one of our guides tailor a rock climbing lesson to you!

You can book a climbing or mountain biking lesson with us on your own schedule—choose a day that works for you, and give us a call. Or sign up for a scheduled course that’s part of our progressive curriculum. We offer educational courses for never-evers to experts and kindergarteners to grandparents.

Join us on August 10 for Dirt 101, a day of learning mountain biking fundamentals. This course is a great chance to transition your previous bike experience to trail riding. Or transition your gym climbing experience to the rock with our Rock 101 course on August 1. If you’re ready to become a lead climber, join us on August 25 for Rock 301, our Learn to Lead Sport course. We want to help get the whole family on rock, so we’re offering a $10 Youth Climbing Clinic in September!
