Whether you’re exploring the backcountry for the first time or have ventured off the beaten path countless times before, the AIARE Avalanche Rescue course is a must for you. This one-day intensive, 8-hour course is designed to keep you abreast with the highest standards in rescue methods and gear. Beginners will get to grasp the critical skill of companion rescue. On the other hand, more experienced attendees can delve deeper into more advanced aspects and can practice their skills in lifelike scenarios. In order to ensure your skills are always sharp and current, AIARE recommends re-enrolling in this course every other year. Beyond that, it is a prerequisite to further enrich your knowledge and enhance your skills in the AIARE 2 and Pro 1 Courses.
