Intro to Backcountry Course: Hut Trip
Ready to answer the call of Colorado’s winter backcountry? This 3-day course is the perfect introduction to backcountry travel, guiding you through everything you need to confidently take your first steps.
Over two nights at a cozy backcountry hut, you’ll learn winter travel techniques on skis or a splitboard, practice backcountry safety skills, and get hands-on experience with hut life—meal planning, water gathering, fire management, and proper hut etiquette. Bring your friends, pick a date, and our guides will handle the rest!
